Mission
Our mission can be summed up as, "to equip and support
spiritual care providers as they tend to the spiritual
well being of others."
We seek to accomplish this by:
1. To research and develop spiritual care and techniques
to further equip spiritual care providers.
2. To network spiritual care providers with other
providers for encouragement, support, and for resources.
3. To network individuals seeking spiritual care with
qualified providers who can meet their needs.
4. To provide educational resources to help equip
spiritual care providers with their service to others.
Vision
Our vision is to have a network of diverse individuals
interacting on the common grounds of providing spiritual
care. We also hope that individuals would see this
network as a premiere way to finding spiritual care. We
aim to provide resources towards that end to include our
Ministry of Presence blog, the Network member only
forums, and a network of individual and group spiritual
care providers. We also have future goals of
conferences, a peer-reviewed journal, and a newsletter.
We also hope to have a more interactive website in which
individuals can leave reviews of spiritual care
providers and other great tools.
Values
Our values are simple because of the diversity of
spiritual care. To that end we have several values that
we hold to be true:
1. We hold that every human being has the right to
spiritual care and to that end we speak and act in ways
that honor the dignity and value of each individual
2. We are professionals and refrain from discrimination
or misconduct when providing care to others.
3. We respect each other and support the well being of
each spiritual care provider.
